The Nagmut Overview

They are from another dimension. They are delivered to the dimensional battle grounds via mutant storks. Not that they are dumb, but they are not smart either in human regard. They are able to steal from the human dimension, ideas and necessary material possessions. Clothing, for instance comes from an American (Earth) department store, J.C Penny’s, due the ingrained belief in every mutants head that the company contains various necessities for human life.

They communicate by osmosis and occasionally telepathy, but insult and verbal animosity is demonstrated through human grunts and mumbled languages. They dwell, suckle and dread but they usually do not feel physical pain. They are boring to be around and bored with themselves and their surroundings. They smell, they hold no value in sanitation, hygene or cleanliness. They are not polite, hold no manners known of in any culture. They battle for many unknown causes; to battle is a major part of their existence. They value random possessions and territory incomprehensible to humans. They are not old or young as time stands irrelevant, however when one overpowers another, it has the option to ‘lease’ the one defeated for a certain amount of time. They are not from a local, alien or spiritual world. They cannot be seen by the human eye. They are the product of the universal leftovers throughout random eras and evolutionary worlds. However, their dimension is on Earth and therefore physically and somewhat mentally, they naturally appropriate from beings, objects and thought within their immediate surroundings. Mutants are impatient they are not friendly and only work together if, coincidentally their objectives are in a similar direction. The only objects of value are weapons. The only Earth weapons of particular interest to them are those of the medieval era-swords, shields, battle axes, catapults, etc. Their advanced technology is leased to them from more advanced worlds. Physically, every mutant is challenged with a physical and/or grotesque handicap of some kind. Mutants can breathe in all environments-land, water, space. Oxygen is useless however carbon monoxide is equivalent to what humans consider a ‘dessert’(cabbage is also considered a dessert). They appreciate many types of food by putting the food in their mouth and holding it there until it falls out by way of a force from built up saliva or vomit. Mutants vomit easily most likely due to the stress of their daily lives. Mutants learn from observation and almost always develop an undeserved stubbornness and arrogance. Mutants excel in operating machinery. Their teeth are usually half human half camel and their gums are prone to disease. Their hairlines are receded if not completely gone. Their eye sockets are too large for their eyes. Upon winning a ‘lease’ it is custom and privilege to self-sew one of their eyelids shut. There is no known hierarchy or family structure. Some mutants have claws however these claws do not provide a real function. They usually refuse all foot coverings unless they obtain ‘the cheapest’ ones available in J. C Penny’s. they have learned to use grocery bags for air-flotation devices (parachutes). Hats, if worn, represent a mutant’s appreciation of a historical era in which certain weapons had been either introduced or depended upon for combat. The normal body structure is as follows-thin arms and legs with no fat yet at most, slight muscle build. Their stomachs are not proportionate in that they are pot bellied. The actual heights and weights vary however they can usually fit into clothing from J.C. Penny’s. on the rare occasion when they sleep, they sleep lightly, in temporary berthings underground. If they sleep aboveground they are usually punished by another mutant and forced into a ‘lease’. Common access to the underground berthings is through hatches similar to those used on modern day steel ships in the human world.
